In this 3-hour masterclass featuring Dr. Vincent Felitti, co-principal investigator of the Adverse Childhood Experiences study, the largest epidemiological study of trauma ever conducted, we explore the origins of the ACES study, its revelatory findings about the relationship between early adversity and illbeing later in life, what it means that in public health and medicine we are often treating as the problem what is in fact someone's solution to a deeper problem that we cannot see, and what this implies both about the relationship between physician and patient, and how we intervene to support wellbeing.
