Moira Theede is a registered nurse, and authored the chapter in Clinical Applications of the Polyvagal Theory that explores that way Polyvagal Theory affirms the importance of nursing. In this broad conversation we discuss the nature of healing itself, where healing comes from, and imagine what it might be like to have a medical system that recognized the innate healing capacities of bodies that feel safe and supported. This is the final part of our initial 4-part series, focused on physiology and the individual. In future, we are planning to develop a second companion course that explores the intersections between Polyvagal Theory and Culture.
