Slow Down
with Tiokasin Ghosthorse
Tiokasin speaks about his practice of slowing down, and the resilience that comes from adopting an earth-based pace. He describes this more as an awareness, or mindset, that originates in the story of his birth in the Cheyenne River Lakota nation to a mother who walked three miles on foot to be able to deliver him. He explains how nature teaches us to slow down, and that harmonizing with this rhythm of nature bring us into contact with Life itself, removing us from isolation.
