Connection Masterclass #11: Pete Jackson: Creativity as Liberatory Practice
LIVE EVENT- ONLINE
THURSDAY NOVEMBER 18, 2021, 6-9 PM PST (-7 hours GMT)
NOTE: This event has sliding-scale pricing. If you have the financial conditions to pay the suggested price, we are grateful for your generosity, however, we don't want price to be an obstacle if you'd like to learn with us. We have a minimum price because we are incurring significant expenses to produce this class, including hororaria for our speakers, and technology.
Pete Jackson is a visionary surrealist painter, an adjunct professor of art at the Sante Fe Community college, a master of the Brazilian martial art of Capoeira, and a master of the science of numerology. He is Chair of Creativity at the Restorative Practices Alliance. The only American student of internationally renowned Surrealist painter Adbul Mati Klarwein, Pete grew interested in Surrealism because he found "the experience of being a Black man in America surreal." Join us for a deep-dive into the liberatory power of creativity with a master painter and lifelong artist, martial artist, and spiritual teacher.
As soon as you purchase the course, you will be taken to a thank you screen with a section entitled Downloads. Use the button here that says "Joining Instructions for Masterclass" to download a PDF with the access code. You will need this to enter our conversation the night of the event.
If you'd like to join us for the entire speaker series, including lifetimes access to all of the filmed and produced talks (we are filming these on location), join us for the Connection Masterclass series.
