So salutary are the effects of simply being in such a forest, that Japanese doctors prescribe forest bathing (shinrin-yoku (森林浴) to millions of people each year.
This an annual subscription to our forest bathing society: a private social club.
In addition to access to our Northern California Eco-reserve the first saturday of the month, for you and a guest (spouse, companion, friend, child) it provides you the opportunity to rent our cabin for weekends or retreats, and rent the eco-reserve and its facilities for events at reduced rates*.
This membership is for an individual and their guest, but we also offer family memberships. If you are interested in a family membership, send an email to support@restorativepractices.com with 'Forest Bathing' in the subject line. Tell us the number of people in your family, and their ages (if they are children). When children are in attendance at forest bathing daylongs, we have a dedicated member of our staff with babysitting, camp counseling, and nature awareness experience to tend to them for parts of the day so that parents can relax, as well as activities that are designed for the entire family. This is an extraordinary way to immerse your children in deep nature, in pristine wilderness, developing rootedness in the Living World and embodied ecological knowledge of place, something that is one of the deepest biological foundations of wellbeing.
