Drop Fossil Fuel
We are all perpetrators against our Mother.
Every time you fire up a gasoline engine, you are perpetrating against the earth. It is that simple. We don't like to think of ourselves as perpetrators, but we are complicit, all of us, in the destruction of the only known biosphere in the Universe. Every decision we make has impacts. And in the dissociative matrix of modernity, every single time we step into a vehicle that emits carbon, we are taking a crap in our Mother's mouth. Most of the time, our dissociation is so complete, and so normalized, that we aren't even aware of this at all.
What would it mean not to dissociate? What would it mean to become aware that even though it isn't your intention, even though you didn't design this system, every time you cooperate with it you are actively harming yourself, all other lifeforms on the planet, and every future lifeform? What would it look like if you could actually hold that awareness with you at all times? Would it change your behavior? What would it take to snap out of the haze of normality surrounding behavior this destructive?
