Nature Photography

{A Written Practice}

Nature Photography

A creative practice of observing closely in the Living World.

The camera on the phone in your pocket is better than the most advanced cameras that existed twenty years ago. So to go into nature seeking beauty, or inspiration–to frame still or video images–this a practice of both observation and nature awareness. And with photography there is both the joy of the practice itself, the moments of concentration, of framing, and then the artifact: the photo itself.

We like to make these into screensavers, and wallpaper. Backgrounds that transport us back to these moments of beauty. You can also print a photograph and frame it. Or turn them into a book. They are so many creative tools these days that allow folks to document their creative endeavors. Photo sharing sites, blogs, antisocial media, etc.
