Rest into Gravity

How is it that we've forgotten how to rest?

In this practice and reflection, Paula Ramírez takes us deep into an exploration of finding spaciousness in our bodies through re-discovering our relationship with gravity.

Paula asks us to consider how it is that we've forgotten how to rest, and what a revolution in non-doing would require? How do we come back into relationship, through our bodies, with gravity? This is such a simple thing–and yet so elemental to the recovery of spaciousness. Spaciousness in our bodies, in our lives, in our relationships. How can we create a habit of spaciousness–a somatic habit of creating more internal space–in a world and at a speed constantly threatening to take this away?

Building on her deep experience teaching self-care and mindfulness to humanitarian aid workers serving refugees in conflict zones internationally, Paula teaches us the revolutionary qualities of reclaiming rest.
